i read this article.
its about a girl of age 13 who hanged herself because of a hoax in mySpace.
she fell out with her previous girlfriend, and this previous girlfriend's mom decided to create a fake account in mySpace using the name Jake. and she made this girl, Megan believed that Jake liked her. Until much later, Jake suddenly told Megan that He didn't want to be her friend anymore because he had heard stories that Megan wasn't nice to her friends.
He started being vulgar online, sending rude messages to Megan telling her things that you are fat, you are a slut etc.
and Megan was so upset.
the best part? her mom did monitor all her internet chatting. Megan was only allowed to access MySpace when her mom's in the room.
as i read this article further, it said that the parents who created the fictional character Jake, was not even apologetic. they said they didn't need to feel guilty and they may be partly responsible but they don't really care.
i was really burdened to pray this morning for this particular family.
the parents of Megan are in the midst of a divorce.
i pray that God just deal with the other family, and give Megan's family some justice.
and for poor Megan who took away her life, i only feel sorrow because she's not able to enjoy anymore, and she's probably taken captive in hell.
what a way to say good morning.
may God just bless each and everyone of you out there, with a blessed day ahead (:
Jesus loves you so much.
